Optional secured 256-bit SSL encrypted HTTPSMS is available using one of the following connection URL's:

Client auto-negotation is enabled to automatically select the appropriate encryption strength and to exchange keys.

Note that the use of encrypted ports is only necessary for specific message types such as banking one-time passwords. Encryption utilises more server resources and reduces message throughput.
