How do I add a service and purchase more credit?

How Do I Add a Service?

To add a new service to your CardBoardFish account, please log in to the customer account on the website using your username and password. Then click 'Services' from the left hand menu.

You can then select the service you wish and click 'Add'.

If you do not have enough credit to add a service and therefore need to make a payment, please see this article Adding a Service for the First Time.

If you are not adding a service for the first time, summary will be displayed to ensure that you have chosen the correct service. If the details are correct, click 'Next'.

The service will then be added to your account and by clicking 'Next' again you will be able to view the details of the new service account, as well as documentation and the appropriate support area. It is possible to view this information at any time by returning to the Services page and clicking on the new service that will now be listed there.

Please note If you do not have enough credit on your account you will be asked to add credit first. See below to learn how to add credit. After credit has been added, you must follow the above procedure to add the service.

How Do I Purchase More Credit?

To purchase more credit to either buy new services or for sending SMS messages you will first need to make sure that your account information is complete. You can do this by logging into your customer account on the website with your username and password and clicking 'My Information' from the left hand menu.

All items with a * are required.

When your information has been completed, you will be able to purchase credit by choosing 'Billing' from the left hand menu. There are 2 payment options available for you to choose from:

  • Pay Now By Credit Card - This allows you to instantly add credit via credit or debit card. A small card processing fee may be charged. The invoice/receipt will be generated after the payment has been accepted.
  • Pay Now By Invoice - This allows you to generate an invoice for payment by bank transfer. The beneficiary details will appear on the invoice. Credit will be added to your account as soon as your payment is received. Please ensure to include the correct payment reference when instructing your bank to make the payment.

Whichever method you choose, you will be able to specifiy how much SMS credit you wish to purchase either by entering a currency amount, or a number of SMS messages and an SMS unit price. Note that the price you enter is simply the price that will appear on the invoice for your own accounting purposes, and it will not have an effect on the actual SMS price you will be charged.

Please note You must add enough credit to pay for both services you wish to add as well as SMS messages you wish to send. If you only add enough credit to pay for a service you will not be able to send any messages until you add more credit to fund them.
