How do I create a WAP push?

You can create a WAP push message using the online encoding tool available from the customer account on our website. To access these tools, please log in to your account at http://www.cardboardfish.com and then click on Support > Online Encoding Tools.

To create a WAP push, simply select 'WAP push encoder' from the drop-down list of options and fill in the form as required. You must include a complete URL and text to be displayed on the handset. You do not have to include the http:// part in the URL.

Example

When you are finished, click on the 'WAP' button to view the hex encoded WAP push message. If you have selected to include the WAP Push header, this will be appended to the front.

The WAP Push header is not the UDH. The correct UDH can be found here.
