I am having character display issues, how do I resolve this?

This is usually caused by having the data coding (DC) value of the HTTP SMS request set incorrectly.

The best way to test this is by sending a message containing a single @ (corporate at) sign. If the received message has a space instead of the @ symbol try changing the DC value to 6 (or 7 for a flash message) or resubmitting the message using the ISO-8859-1 format.

You can find a list of supported characters in the HTTP SMS Specification Document article. For more information please check the article on Sending Greek Characters.
