I get an error when I try to open a distribution list, what does this mean?
What causes it?
Errors when opening a distribution list mean that the list has either been corrupted or is no longer available (for example, if the list was stored on a network share which is no longer connected).
How do I fix it?
If the list is no longer available, try reconnecting the network share or drive which the list is stored on.
If the list has become corrupted then the Windows Batch Sender will be unable to read it. Lists can become corrupted if they have been edited using a different program, if your computer shut down unexpectedly whilst a list was being saved or if your computer is experiencing hardware difficulties.
It may be possible to extract information from a corrupted list file by opening it using a text editor or XML editor.
