Registering a mobile number

If you want to set the 'display number' option of the Java Desktop SMS program to a mobile number you will need to confirm that you are the owner of the number you want to use.

You can do this by selecting 'Mobile number' from the configuration panel, typing in the number you want to use and clicking 'submit'.

A confirmation code will be sent through to the number you typed, and all you need to do is type the code into the 'Enter code' box and click OK.

Make sure to type the code correctly. You can click on 'submit' if you need to send the confirmation code to your number again.

If you are using a Virtual Number the confirmation code will be sent to your Inbox. The Java Desktop SMS program will alert you when a new message arrives in your Inbox. Simply open the message to get your confirmation code.
