Signing up for an account

You can sign up for a free account to use the Webmaster SMS Tools by going to http://webmastersms.cardboardfish.com and clicking on 'Sign up'.

You will need to choose:

Your contact name

e.g. John Smith

This is the contact name which will be used when CardBoardFish send out your validation e-mail. Maximum length 50 characters.

Your username

e.g. John1983

This is the username you will use when logging into your online account. It should be between 3 and 12 characters, letters and numbers only and lowercase.

Your password

e.g. mypass127

This is the password you will use when logging into your online account. It should be between 5 and 12 characters, letters and numbers only and lowercase.

Your contact e-mail address

e.g. me@mygreatwebsite1234.org

This is the e-mail address which your validation information will be sent to. It must be a working e-mail account or you will not be able to activate your free account.

One the form is completed, you will need to agree to the Terms and Conditions before clicking 'Signup'.

Before your account is finalised, you will need be shown a 'Captcha' image containing four letters which you will need to repeat. This is to prevent automatic signups from programs and web-robots.

When completed you will be sent a validation e-mail to the address you specified containing your chosen username and password as well as a validation link you will need to click on the activate your account.
