What is a Virtual Number?

Virtual numbers offer a high-volume two-way SMS solution which can receive up to 100 SMS messages per second.

A virtual number works like a normal mobile number. Once you have purchased one you will be able to receive text messages to it as you would a regular mobile number. Friends, customers or anybody with a mobile* will be able to send SMS text messages to you.

Virtual numbers are rented for an annual fee and can be used with our HTTP SMS Service, Email2SMS or Desktop Sender/Personal service (Windows Desktop SMS Sender/Internet Explorer Toolbar, Mac OS X SMS Widget, Java Desktop SMS Sender) .
