What security options are available?

You can increase security on your account by restricting IP addresses allowed to access it. Do this by logging into your account, clicking on Services and then on the individual SMS Connection Service.

You can restrict an account to individual IP addresses or entire IP subnet ranges using the Access Configuration panel.

Example
restrictIP.png

To allow any IP to connect, set IP Address to 0.0.0.0 and subnet /0.

To restrict access to IP address 213.100.65.47 (for example) set IP Address to 213.100.98.121 and subnet to /1 and click on Save.

For more advanced access restriction, you can set the Classless Inter-Domain Routing (CIDR) value from 0-32 to describe subnets within an IP Address.

You can add more IP Address restrictions by using the Add Button and remove selected restrictions by ticking the Delete box next to the restriction you want to remove and clicking on Delete.
