Where does the Windows Batch Sender store lists?
If you wish to make backup copies of your distribution lists, the Windows Batch Sender stores lists in
'My Documents\Windows Batch Sender\lists'
The exact location of My Documents will vary depending on your system, but it is usually under
C:\Documents and Settings\Users\Your User Name
The lists are all stored as XML (eXtensible Markup Language) files with file names based on the list name.
Please note:
- These files should not be edited as this could cause data corruption and make the file unreadable to the Windows Batch Sender.
- You cannot change the default location where lists are stored, although you can change the directory 'My Documents' refers to under Microsoft Windows.
