Why can't I reach the server?

If you are unable to reach the servers or if your requests are timing out we would first ask you to open a command prompt/terminal window and try to telnet to hlrlookup.cardboardfish.com on port 80.

If this connects properly then we suggest you contact the technical support for your systems and check your firewall is permitting access to port 80 on hlrlookup.cardboardfish.com.

Should you be unable to telnet to hlrlookup.cardboardfish.com it may still be a firewall issue so we suggest pinging hlrlookup.cardboardfish.com.

If you are unable even to ping the server it is likely you are experiencing a network difficulty and we again recommend contacting the technical support for your internal network.

However, if you are unable to resolve this matter you can contact our technical support by logging into your account on our website and using the Create New Support option on the Support page for the service you are running. Please include as much information as possible in the support request to help us in assisting you. To learn more please read Contacting Support.
