Why have I not received my validation e-mail?
If you have signed up for a free account but have not yet received your validation e-mail, there may be several possible causes.
The e-mail may be mistaken for junk-mail and moved/deleted by your e-mail client
Most modern e-mail clients offer spam filtering and it is possible that the validation e-mail has been mistaken for spam and possibly moved to a junk message folder or deleted completely. You will need to check your junk mail settings and make sure that e-mail messages from cardboardfish.com are marked as 'safe' or 'not-junk'. Please check with your e-mail provider for information on how to do this.
If you think your validation e-mail was marked as junk and then deleted, you can ask for the e-mail to be resent by clicking
here.
Your e-mail server may be responding slowly/under heavy load
It may take anywhere from a few moments to an hour for the validation e-mail to be delivered. Whilst validation e-mails are sent out instantly,
CardBoardFish has no control over congestion and traffic within other e-mail servers and it may take some time for the e-mail to be received and processed by your e-mail provider.
If you have not received your e-mail after several minutes you can ask for the e-mail to be resent by clicking
here.
You may have mistyped your e-mail address/specified an inactive e-mail
While signing up for your account it is possible that you mistyped your e-mail address or accidentally specified an old or inactive account.
If you think you have given an incorrect e-mail address you will have to sign up again with your correct address.
